- Hello Parents! I have attached the welcome letter for those who did not make our parent night. For those of you who came out I greatly appreciate it and I look forward to a great year with you all!
Dear Parents,
Welcome to another glorious year of preschool! I am so excited for this upcoming school year 2017-2018! I have so many wonder filled activities, and ideas to get your toddlers on the track to even further success. I know what you are thinking, who are you? Well, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Briana Elliott. Your students will often refer to me as “Ms Briana”. I am 23 years old. I have an associate of arts degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors of Science at the University of North Fl in elementary education. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I am also a native of Jax, Fl so go Jags!
Now, let’s get down to business. Since I will have 1 and 2-year old’s I have many goals to reach before they move on to the next level. First and foremost, I will begin potty training the first day of school. I also will help the one-year olds develop language, and communication skills. However, I will not be able to do this alone. I will need your full support. We are a team and teamwork is this year’s class theme. Communication is also key so I will be providing you all with contact information should you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
Classwork, homework, and practice activities will be given weekly. I have built a website for you all to stay updated with classroom activities, news, and school wide events. Class website: brianae1.educatorpages.com
*Please note our first fundraiser will be October 3rd 2017. This is also our picture day!
